Authentic British Commercial Reads for Every Platform
British Male Commercial Voiceover — Authentic, Engaging & On-Brand
A great commercial lives or dies by its voice. The wrong read can make even the best script feel flat. The right one stops people in their tracks, builds instant trust, and makes your brand memorable.
I’ve voiced commercials for brands ranging from national household names to ambitious regional businesses — on TV, radio, online video, social media and streaming platforms. My delivery is warm, natural and contemporary. No “announcer voice”, no cheese — just an authentic British read that sounds like a real person talking to your audience.

Matching the tone to your brand
Every brand has its own personality, and I take the time to understand yours before I record a single line. Need something warm and trustworthy for a financial product? Done. Fast, punchy and energetic for a retail promotion? No problem. Dry, understated wit for a premium brand? That’s my favourite kind.
I work closely with producers, creative directors and agencies to get the read exactly right — and I offer live directed sessions via Source-Connect, Cleanfeed or Zoom if you want to be in the room as I record.
Fast, reliable, broadcast-ready. Most commercial projects are turned around within the hour. Files delivered in WAV, MP3 or whatever format your editor needs.
Request a quote and let’s make your next commercial sound just how you want it.
Also looking for a British voiceover for radio imaging & promos, corporate narration or explainer videos? I can help with those too.

Commercial Voice Overs for Brands You Know
Over 25 years in broadcast I’ve voiced adverts for national household names and ambitious independents alike, including Energizer, Burger King, LinkedIn, Inches Cider, Monzo and UK Government campaigns. My voice has also been heard across various radio networks both nationally & internationally
Whether it’s a 10-second social pre-roll or a national TV campaign, you get the same thing: a natural, believable read that sounds like a real person, not a voice reading a script.

What Producers Say
How Much Does a Commercial Voice Over Cost?
Commercial voice over fees in the UK are based on two things: the recording session (if applicable), and the usage, meaning where the advert will run, for how long, and to how many people. A local radio ad costs less than a national TV campaign because the reach is much smaller.
Send me your script, where it will run and for how long, and I’ll come back with a clear, fixed quote. There are no hidden extras, and one round of revisions is included.
The 3-Step Process
Send Your Script
Email your script and brief. I’ll provide a custom quote and, if needed, a short sample read to ensure the tone is spot on.
Broadcast Recording
I record your project in my broadcast-spec studio. Most commercials are turned around the same day, often within the hour.
Fast Delivery
Receive your clean, edited audio in WAV or MP3. I include one round of artistic revisions to make sure it’s perfect.
Commercial Voiceover FAQ
n the Commercial Voiceover FAQ accordion, replace the three existing Q&As and add two new ones.
1. Why choose a human commercial voice over instead of AI?
A human voice brings emotional nuance, comic timing and a brand-specific personality that AI still can’t match, and those are what build trust with listeners. I can also take direction live and adjust a read in seconds.2. Do you voice commercials for TV, radio and social media?
Yes. I voice national and regional TV adverts, radio commercials, cinema ads, Spotify and podcast ads, and social media ads for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn, with licensing to match where your ad runs.3. What’s included in the commercial voice over fee?
Recording in my broadcast-standard studio, clean editing (breaths and clicks removed), delivery in WAV or MP3, and one round of revisions. Usage for where the ad will run is agreed up front.4. How fast can you deliver?
Most commercials are turned around the same day, often within the hour. Live directed sessions are available over Source-Connect, Cleanfeed or Zoom and recorded on Protools deliverable as .wav or mp3.5. Can you do different styles and accents?
My natural read is a contemporary, conversational British accent, and I also have a London regional read. I can go warm, upbeat, dry or high-energy depending on the brief.
